Edge of the world

I want to go to the edge of the world
What will I see?
Sand, Snow, a solitary tree
Or just people
Some marooned in sadness
Some in glee
With moments fleeting
would they know
sadness is a burden on memory
because it stays
Glee only lasts a moment
it leaves as the mind sways
Or will I see an ocean
Spread across endlessly
goes as far as eyes can see
it almost seems to drop in the end
proving that the earth is curvy
with all the attributes of a lady
If my heart was an ocean of love
will I shed a tear and waste it now
Will I see ghosts or demons
The ones said not to exist
but theyve lived in our minds all along
tapped our doors when we were wrong
The guilt that sat on our shoulders
Was also called devil by his brothers
Or will I see nothingness
A warm embrace of absolute emptiness
Where mind holds no thought
The heart holds no beat
The hand holds no pulse
The body needs no feet
Life comes a full circle
The nothingness is the miracle
